Alpine Association Refuges
Overview of refuge cabins
The cabins of DAV (German Alpine Association) and OEAV (Austrian Alpine Association) offer perfect accommodation!
Whether this is your destination, a refuge cabin in an uninviting environment or a sleeping place with a lot of "air" underneath the bed: the large number of publicly accessible refuge cabins managed by the Alpine Association offer a comfortable shelter. The cabins not only provide food and accommodation to Alpine Association members and non-members, but also information about the weather and trail conditions. At the same time, they are used as contact station in case of alpine emergencies.
