Ankogel, the landmark mountain of Mallnitz, is located amidst the most easterly three thousand meter Alpine peaks. It is one of the skiing areas with guaranteed snow, making sure that guests literally experience "Carinthia's top skiing adventure". Super wide, perfectly groomed slopes (35 km) are Ankogel's trademark as is the generously designed freeride terrain, the longest snow-covered run into the valley in Carinthia as well as the area around the Köfele lift near the valley, specially designed for families and beginners.
